National Fentanyl Surveillance Study - New forms of fentanyl have become available including a generic patch. This highly addictive drug is a particular hazard for health professionals. This research project primarily funded by the Institute for Behavioral Health, Rockville, MD, is monitoring 30 sites, including Physician Health Programs and Chemical Dependence Treatment Programs around the USA that are involved in treatment of physicians.
Blueprint for Lasting Recovery: Translating the Success of Physician Health Programs to General Treatment Approaches - This exciting new project will be looking at Physician Health Programs around the USA to analyze their methodology and outcomes. This project will be sponsored, in part, by a grant from the Robert Woods Johnsons Foundation.
